Company Description: Johnny Henley established Henley Aviation in 2003 in Kinston NC (KISO). Johnny's career began in Kinston in 1975 with ISO Aero Service, Inc. His career with ISO Aero Service, Inc. included aircraft maintenance, flight instructor, charter pilot and then as General Manager before retiring in 2000. He has held the titles of Chief Flight Instructor for both FAR 61 and 141 operations, Company Check Airman, Chief Pilot and Director of Operations for FAR 135 Air Charter Operations. During this time ISO Aero owned and operated 33 aircraft for both flight training and aircraft charter. In 1991 he became an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner which he holds through today. Interesting Facts/Notable Achievements: Owner Johnny Henley was the corporate pilot for Matt Kenseth Racing from 2007-2011. He resigned in 2011 to return full-time to Henley Aviation.

Company Description: Lenoir Community College (LCC) is rich in history and is one of the oldest institutions in the North Carolina Community College System. Chartered April 3, 1958, LCC is one of 58 community colleges in the North Carolina Community College System. The system was established in 1963 under enactment of a general statute by the legislature and it serves nearly 850,000 citizens annually. Nestled between the state’s capital and the coast, LCC is located in Kinston, NC at the intersection of U.S. 70 and N.C. 58. Its primary service area is Lenoir, Greene, and Jones counties, but because of its unique programs, the College attracts students from across North Carolina predominately, as well as across the United States with its distance education offerings. LCC offers both degree and non-degree programs serving approximately 5,500 curriculum students and 15,000 extension students annually.

Company Description: N.C. Emergency Management (Eastern Branch Emergency Management, Division of N.C. Department of Crime Control and Public Safety) protects life, property and the environment through a partnership among local, state and federal agencies.

Interesting Facts: As part of a 2010 MOU, the Global TransPark can be utilized by N.C. Emergency Management as a staging area during emergencies and natural disasters

N.C. Forest Service

Organization Description: The N.C. Forest Service is mandated by law to protect, manage and develop the forest resources of the state. The techniques used to accomplish this mandate involve management of existing resources, development and creation of new and better forests, and protection of these valuable resources. Programs include reforestation services, forest fire prevention and suppression, and insect and disease control. The agency also is involved in the genetic improvement of forest trees, seedling production at state nurseries, long range forestry planning and technical development, water quality controls, urban forestry assistance, training, support to volunteer fire departments, and forestry education.

Interesting Facts: In 2011 the N.C. Forest Service fought more than 5,228 wildfires across the state that burned 100,000 acres of forestland.
